As a little girl I used to love a story called Strega Nona, by Tonie DiPaola, when I was a kid. I loved the funny story and the lovely illustrations, they were very 1970’s. If you don’t know it, Strega Nona is about a granny witch who helps the townspeople with her magic. She leaves her grandson in charge of her magic spaghetti pot, and pasta chaos ensues.
